Situated less than 1Km from the town centre of Tubbercurry, our Golf Club is a picturesque and excellent 9 Hole, Parkland Course. We are nestled at the foot of the Ox Mountains where a friendly reception awaits you in a superbly appointed Clubhouse.

Course Design

Tubbercurry was founded in 1991 and is a challenging nine-hole golf course. Its feature hole is the 6th, a 158-meter, par 3, index 12 played from an elevated tee-box, to a difficult green below.  It has spectacular views of the Ox, mountains and surrounding countryside. Tubbercurry clubhouse caters for the golfers every need. It is renowned its warm friendliness to members and visitors.

Societies are welcome and group rates available.

Singles and doubles competition:
Those involved in the concluding stages of the singles and doubles competition are asked by the committee to conclude their games as soon as possible.


Picture above is taken in Paddy Colleran's pharmacy in Charlestown of the presentation of a Cheque to John Gillespie representing North West Hospice, €1000 from Tubbercurry golf club from the Martin Cahill Memorial Perpetual Cup competition and €1000 from the Cahill Family represented by Ms. Bernie Cahill. Thanks to Paddy Colleran for the sponsorship of this competition.

Irish Diaspora award.
Past captain, Harold McManus of Tubbercurry golf club, has been awarded an Irish Diaspora award by Mayo Emigration Liaison Committee, in recognition of the work he did as project co-ordinator for "The Rev, Fr. Joe Taaffee Memorial Fund".
The Fundraising was to purchase a wheelchair adapted mini bus for the Irish Welfare and Information Centre in Birmingham now known as "Irish In Birmingham"
The fundraising involved organising 3 golf days in the golf club during the years 2004, 2005, 2006. There was also a Liturgical Concert in St. John the Evangelical church in Tubbercurry. Total amount raised was €58000 which purchased the mini bus.
The mini bus has been of daily assistance in getting Irish men and women collected and brought back to their homes throughout the city ever since and has changed the lives of many of its clientele.It has also brought many people home to mayo for short holidays every year.
The award will be presented in Hotel Newport Newport Co. Mayo on Friday 23rd September at 8.30 p.m
It will be gala night with guest artists. Finger food will be served. M.C. for night will be Michael Cummins of Mid West radio.

Congrats to Connacht Shield team who beat Carrick on Shannon last week. Charlie Scanlon and Fergus Marren won 3 and 2. Christy Wimsey and Shane McQuillan won 2 and 1 and John Brennan and Michael Haran had a titanic struggle and won on the 21st. Vinny Murphy and John O Flaherty together with Mark Burke and Dylan Craig lost. Congrats to all

Years County Inn 5:
The Years County Inn Curry are sponsoring a famous 5 competition during the summer months. Next week is week 10. Pay €5 to enter competition and play as often as you like. It is a 9 hole Stapleford. Discard the 2 worst scores and the 2 best scores. Then count the 5 left.

Hole in one:
Gorman tool hire are sponsoring a hole in one competition. So far the prize has not been won so keep practicing!

Green fees:
Anyone that pays green-fees during the month their name is entered for a draw for 4 green fees

Societies are always welcome to play one of the best 9 hole parkland courses in Connacht. Catering and buggies are available.
