Location

Situated less than 1Km from the town centre of Tubbercurry, our Golf Club is a picturesque and excellent 9 Hole, Parkland Course. We are nestled at the foot of the Ox Mountains where a friendly reception awaits you in a superbly appointed Clubhouse.

Course Design

Tubbercurry was founded in 1991 and is a challenging nine-hole golf course. Its feature hole is the 6th, a 158-meter, par 3, index 12 played from an elevated tee-box, to a difficult green below (click here to have a look).  It has spectacular views of the Ox, mountains and surrounding countryside. Tubbercurry clubhouse caters for the golfers every need. It is renowned its warm friendliness to members and visitors.

Societies are welcome and group rates available.

Hard luck to our mixed team as they went down 3-1 to a very good Portumna team in Claremorris in the Connaught semi final. Padraig Mc Donagh and Breege Walsh left no stone unturned in their preparation for today but it was not to be. On behalf of the club, huge thanks go to all the managers, players and panel for giving of their time to represent our club. Thanks also to the great support that travelled to Claremorris to cheer on our players.

Inter club 9 hole Competition

Well done to the Connaught 9-hole Inter Club team on Bank Holiday Monday, as we started the defence of the Connaught title Charlie Scanlon & his team won last year. Ronan Forkin, Keith Feehily, Dylan Craig and Seamus Holian headed off to Achill and won 3 matches with Seamus being called in on the 15th. Mark Burke & Niall Murphy won their game well with Christy Wimsey, Joey Wimsey, Padraig mc Donagh & Vinny Murphy coming close. Reserves at home were Michael Gorman, Johnny Finan and Damian Moran Thanks to all the players for making themselves available to play for Tubbercurry Golf Club. Next round looks like Swinford with home advantage to Tubbercurry. If you are interested in playing with the team, then get out practicing and the team will be picked using players in form and having scores in Sunday Competitions.

The Tubbercurry golf club Ladies hosted a very successful table quiz on Wednesday 21st March in the Clubhouse. It was very well attended and thanks to all members and non-members who supported this fundraiser, The picture below shows the winners with the Ladies Captain Agnes Durkin with Mary Kilcoyne who presented the prizes to the winners on behalf of the sponsors Clifford Electrical, special thanks again to Clifford Electrical for their very kind and continued support of our Golf Club. Well done to all!

The finals of the C.M.D. Group Training were held on Sunday 25th Feb on a beautiful Spring morning. The 9 hole runners up was followed by the Captains Drive in and then the main event - the 18 hole final. There were some great scores posted. Thanks again to Chris Mc Donagh and the CMD Group for their continued support and making the CMD Group Training Winter League such a great competiton to play in and win.

Clean shoes and trollies

A new compressor has been purchased and installed to facilitate members cleaning their shoes and trollies after a round of golf. 
The cost of the compressor has been donated by Mr. John Gillespie from proceeds of the Gillespie Cup. Many thanks John!

This is the time of the year when cash flow is crucial for the club. Membership is now due and members are asked to pay as soon as possible. Membership can be paid to any committee member or when you are paying competition fee
