Situated less than 1Km from the town centre of Tubbercurry, our Golf Club is a picturesque and excellent 9 Hole, Parkland Course. We are nestled at the foot of the Ox Mountains where a friendly reception awaits you in a superbly appointed Clubhouse.

Course Design

Tubbercurry was founded in 1991 and is a challenging nine-hole golf course. Its feature hole is the 6th, a 158-meter, par 3, index 12 played from an elevated tee-box, to a difficult green below (click here to have a look).  It has spectacular views of the Ox, mountains and surrounding countryside. Tubbercurry clubhouse caters for the golfers every need. It is renowned its warm friendliness to members and visitors.

Societies are welcome and group rates available.

If you are interested in being in charge of any of the Inter-Club teams,

Inter Club Team Competitions we have entered in this year are;
Irish Junior Cup, The Jimmy Bruen Shield, The 9-Hole Connaught Comp. The Pierce Purcell Shield, The Irish Mixed Foursomes, The Jack O'Sullivan, The Seniors Over 55 Inter Comp. and The National Fourball Betterball Matchplay (Cecil Ewing)                

We are looking for captains for the Following teams;

1. The Seniors Over 55 Inter Comp    2. The 9-Hole Connaught Comp, 3. The Pierce Purcell Shield

If you are interested in Captaining any of the above teams, please contact Damian Keenan @086 8160533. If captains cannot be found to pick the teams, arrange trials etc. then there will be no team.

Irish Junior Cup - Sat July 7th - Ballinrobe 

The Jimmy Bruen Shield - 19th May v Strandhill - (they have home advantage)

The 9-Hole Connaught Competition - Monday April 2nd V Achill (They have home advantage)  

The Pierce Purcell Shield - 12th May v Ck-on-Shannon (they have home advantage)

The Irish Mixed Foursomes - 23rd May v Castlerea (we have home advantage)

The Jack O'Sullivan- 5th July v Strandhill (they have home advantage) 

The Seniors Over 55 Inter Competition 16th May v Strokestown (they have home advantage)

The All-Ireland Fourball Inter Club (Cecil Ewing) - 5th May v Castle Dargan (they have home advantage)  

The finals of the C.M.D. Group Training were held on Sunday 25th Feb on a beautiful Spring morning. The 9 hole runners up was followed by the Captains Drive in and then the main event - the 18 hole final. There were some great scores posted. Thanks again to Chris Mc Donagh and the CMD Group for their continued support and making the CMD Group Training Winter League such a great competiton to play in and win.

Clean shoes and trollies

A new compressor has been purchased and installed to facilitate members cleaning their shoes and trollies after a round of golf. 
The cost of the compressor has been donated by Mr. John Gillespie from proceeds of the Gillespie Cup. Many thanks John!

This is the time of the year when cash flow is crucial for the club. Membership is now due and members are asked to pay as soon as possible. Membership can be paid to any committee member or when you are paying competition fee
