Tubbercurry Ladies.

Saturday 23rd July was the big event of the year for our Ladies. Lady Captain Pat Kelly pulled out all the stops making sure everything was in order for us. Her compensation was the large number of players in both the 18 Hole Stroke and the 9 Hole Stableford Competitions. Pat's display of prizes in the morning, especially her much sought after 1st prize was all that was needed to get the ladies anxious to get to the 1st tee and hope that Lady Luck and good play would earn them a place at the prize giving table in the evening.
The weather was very favourable and we all enjoyed the highs and lows of the day. Pat with her good humour and unassuming demeanour added so much to the day and afterwards, while enjoying a beautiful meal lifted the spirits of those of us who failed to get to the prize giving table.
Well done Pat, we all had a great day.
